jeanette wilson2017-12-15Having had many years of dental pain and becoming a very nervous patient Per Anderson bought the practice I was with at the time.since then I have had a full set of lower crowns and many years ago a half mouth of upper implants.Recently the rest of my upper mouth was fitted with implants. I can not recommend this dentist more highly. I am still prone to be a nervous patient but have been able to complete all of this work and it is to a fantastic standard with all the laboratory dentures sent to be made in Sweden.

Stewart Mckechnie2015-01-21I had a full upper jaw bridge from Dr Per Andersson in 2001. I was very pleased with it and it is still in place some13/14 years later requiring no maintenance apart from regular hygienist visits and use of standard interdental brushes/mouthwash etc. Old photographs remind me what my teeth used to look like !

Dr Lindsay Andersson BDS Edin (Practice Principal)
I have been working in general practice since I graduated in 1989. I have also spent a year working in Sweden within the Swedish community dental system. I pride myself in supplying a high standard of care, while making my patients feel at ease, this is most important to me, and we all work hard to create a warm and relaxed atmosphere to welcome our patients into. In my spare time I enjoy keeping fit, reading, playing Bridge and spending time with my family.

Having run several businesses, in multiple sectors for over 35 years, I bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to my appointment within the team. I enjoy a challenge and strive to ensure patient satisfaction. I take pride in my ability to put nervous patients at ease before entering the surgery. I enjoy operating amateur radio, riding my motorcycle and spending time with my family in my spare time. I look forward to meeting patients old and new.

Dr Per Andersson BDS Stockholm Msc Restorative Dentistry
As many of you will know I have recently retired after 19 wonderful years running this practice. I have come to regard you all as friends and will miss you all. I leave you in the good care of Dr Lindsay Andersson and wish you all the best for the future.
I qualified in Stockholm in 1988 and worked for many years in both community and private dental practices. In Sweden and the UK I have taken part in extensive postgraduate training with special interest in implantology, major prosthetic restorations and root canal treatments. I worked for two years in an implant specialist practice in Stockholm and hold a diploma in the restorative aspects of dental implant procedures. I have been practicing in Ayrshire since 2000. From 2001 to 2003, I also worked part time as a lecturer in the restorative department of Glasgow University Dental School. My spare time is spent training and racing triathlons; so far, I have done 31 seasons! I also enjoy reading military history books.

PRACTICE POLICY
AROUND 12 HOURS A WEEK OF TREATMENT TIME IS LOST DUE TO PATIENTS EITHER NOT ATTENDING APPOINTMENTS OR CANCELLING AT SHORT NOTICE. THIS INCREASES THE TIME YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR AN APPOINTMENT.
PLEASE GIVE AT LEAST 48 HOURS NOTICE IF YOU REQUIRE TO CANCEL AN APPOINTMENT.
A CHARGE WILL BE MADE FOR MISSED APPOINTMENTS OR SHORT NOTICE CANCELLATIONS:
£10.00 PER 10 MINUTES.
MINIMUM CHARGE £30.00
IN EXTREME CASES PATIENTS WILL BE DEREGISTERED.
